A handmade glass bead pendant light on a spherical metal structure

BIELA is a glass bead pendant light made entirely by hand. Thousands of recycled glass beads are laid over a spherical nickel-plated metal structure, then finished with a metal cap that directs light downwards and gives the piece its distinctive silhouette.

When lit, the sphere diffuses a soft, enveloping glow through the beads — warm, without direct glare. When unlit, BIELA holds its own as a sculptural presence: volume, texture and reflections coexist before light even enters the room.

BIELA can be installed alone, in pairs, or in clusters of several pieces at varying heights — a compositional freedom that adapts to most volumes, from a hotel corridor to a large dining room.

T1, T2, T3 — three sizes, three presences

BIELA is available in three diameters suited to different installation contexts.

BIELA T1 (Ø 15 cm · H 20 cm · 1.3 kg) is the most compact format. Light and restrained on its own, it reveals its full potential in groups: a cluster of several T1 pendants at varying heights creates a luminous cloud of spheres, organic in feel and calibrated to the ceiling height.

BIELA T2 (Ø 21 cm · H 25 cm · 3.1 kg) offers a balanced presence. It works alone above a dining table, in a pair in a living space, or combined with T1 or T3 in a mixed composition.

BIELA T3 (Ø 27 cm · H 29 cm · 5 kg) is the statement format. Its assertive volume structures a space on its own — hotel entrance, restaurant, double-height ceiling. In a cluster, the effect is architectural.

WB or WM — the light effect depends on the beads

All three sizes are available in brilliant or matte glass.

• WB (White Brilliant) — glossy glass beads: the light is slightly reflective, livelier, with a visible play of surface reflections at close range. A more dynamic, contemporary effect.
• WM (White Matte) — matte glass beads: the light is more diffuse and even, the atmosphere softer and more intimate. Recommended when the light should recede and let the room breathe.

Metal finish — 4 options on request

The spherical structure and metal cap are available in four finishes, customisable on request:

• Nickel (standard) — neutral and contemporary
• Black — assertive contrast, suited to dark or minimalist interiors
• Gold — warmth and luxury, a natural complement to the amber tones of the beads
• Bronze — organic nuance, at home in natural and earthy interiors

In a multi-piece composition, a consistent metal finish across all pendants ties the installation together.
