Alabaster
Alabaster lighting · A stone used for millennia · Warm, diffused light
Natural alabaster:
a stone made for light
An alabaster light fixture is, above all, a meeting between stone and light. Natural alabaster is a translucent rock used since Antiquity for one rare quality: when light passes through it, it does not block it — it transforms it. The veins, the nuances, the subtle irregularities of the stone become visible the moment the source is switched on, casting a warm, amber and enveloping glow that no other material can replicate.
At Spiridon Deco, every alabaster pendant light, every alabaster chandelier is shaped by hand in our workshops. We select each block carefully for its tones — milky white, golden ochre, veined grey — to ensure the uniqueness of every piece. No two lights are alike: each hue and each vein belongs to the specific alabaster block from which it was carved.
The collection includes alabaster pendant lights, alabaster ceiling lights and alabaster chandeliers, all available in standard dimensions or fully customised to order. For hotel and interior design projects, bespoke commissions are available on request.
