ALMAS: a square crystal glass chandelier that redefines the scale of a space

ALMAS does not hang from the ceiling — it floats above the space. This square crystal glass chandelier, measuring 100 × 100 cm, is an architectural piece in its own right.

A pendant from the Hira family, ALMAS is a 100 × 100 cm square frame in nickel-plated metal, entirely clad in crystal glass tiles on all four sides. In effect, the structure is deliberately flat — only 15 cm deep — giving it the quality of a suspended luminous tray. As a result, its 16 integrated light sources simultaneously activate every tile, creating a dense, spectacular geometric shimmer across the full perimeter.

At this scale, ALMAS defines the space it inhabits. Above a large dining table, in a hotel lobby, or in a double-height reception room: the square frame creates a floating ceiling of moving, geometric light. Furthermore, multiple units can be arranged in a grid to fill even larger architectural volumes.

A standard model, infinite customisation

ALMAS is the prestige piece of the Hira family in its standard dimensions (100 × 100 × H 15 cm). Like every piece in the Hira collection, it is fully customisable: frame dimensions, depth, finish, number of tile rows, cable colour and length. Our team supports each project from design to delivery — lead time: 8 to 12 weeks.

Four finishes orientate ALMAS toward distinct atmospheres. In Nickel (standard), the glass tiles amplify a cool, contemporary brilliance. Choosing Black creates a striking contrast between the structure and the shimmer of the glass. As for Gold and Bronze, available on request, they lend the piece a warmer, more luxurious character.

Materials & artisanal craftsmanship of the square crystal glass chandelier

Each crystal glass tile is precision-cut and individually set by hand onto the metal frame, row by row, across all four sides of the structure. At 100 × 100 cm scale, the result is a dense geometric surface that fills the entire visual volume above the room. The slight variations in tile placement are the hallmark of authentic handcraft.
