A glass petal pendant light — three finishes, three kinds of light

Glycine is a glass petal pendant light, assembled by hand. Each piece is composed of raw glass crystals — individually hand-blown and cut, with their natural edges — clustered onto a metal frame. Light passes between the facets and scatters into thousands of points, like a bunch of wisteria frozen in glass.

Glycine is available in three finishes that produce three distinctly different kinds of light: brilliant white (WB), matte white (WM) and transparent (WT).

WB, WM, WT — three finishes, three atmospheres

Brilliant white (WB) — the crystals have a smooth, glossy white surface. Light reflects off the flat faces of each shard, creating a vivid, sparkling effect. Well suited to contemporary interiors, reception spaces, and compositions that are meant to draw the eye.

Matte white (WM) — the crystals are surface-treated for a frosted appearance. Light is diffused more softly and evenly. The result is warmer and more enveloping, suited to residential spaces or interiors that seek quiet elegance.

Transparent (WT) — the crystals are clear and colourless. Light passes through without filtering and produces crisp, direct points of brightness. The overall character is more mineral and precise. The silhouette is also more slender: in WT, Glycine is noticeably finer in diameter than in WB or WM.

T1, T2, T3 — three scales

Glycine T1 (Ø20 cm WB/WM · Ø14 cm WT) is the accent piece — hallway, bedside, entrance, or used closely together in a composition. In WT the silhouette is particularly slender at just Ø14 cm, making it well suited to narrow spaces or dense compositions.

Glycine T2 (Ø22 cm WB/WM · Ø18 cm WT) suits a dining table of typical proportions, a reading corner, or pairs well in twos and threes above a kitchen island. It is the most versatile format in the range.

Glycine T3 (Ø25 cm WB/WM · Ø20 cm WT) is the statement piece. Alone, it naturally anchors a space — main dining room, living room, generous entrance. In a composition, two or three Glycine T3 can fill a long ceiling or a hotel lobby.
