Cirsium — Table Lamp

A glass petal table lamp — every piece unique

Cirsium is a glass petal table lamp crafted entirely by hand. Each petal is individually mouth-blown, then assembled onto a lacquered metal frame. The natural variation of hand-blowing means that every Cirsium is unique: no two pieces share the same silhouette.

When lit, the light filters through each petal the way it would through a stained glass window — diffuse, warm, alive with movement. When unlit, Cirsium stands as a sculptural object: a bouquet of glass resting on a surface, dense and organic.

T1 and T2 — two sizes, two presences

Cirsium comes in two sizes, each with its own scale and natural placement.

Cirsium T1 (32 × 32 × 20 cm · 5 kg) is the compact format. Its restrained footprint makes it at home on a bedside table, a desk, a console or an entrance sideboard — it brings sculptural presence without dominating the space. One G9 source.

Cirsium T2 (40 × 40 × 29 cm · 8 kg) is the generous format. It makes a centrepiece on a sideboard or dresser, or works as an accent floor lamp in a living room. Its mass of glass creates a volume that captures the eye before the light is even switched on. One G9 source.

WB, WM or WT — three finishes, three kinds of light

The choice of glass finish fundamentally changes the quality of light Cirsium produces.

• WB (Brilliant White) — brilliant white glass: light reflects lightly off the petal surfaces, giving the lamp a bright, animated quality where the edges of the glass catch and play. Well suited to contemporary interiors or spaces that welcome contrast.
• WM (Matte White) — matte white glass: light is absorbed and distributed evenly, producing a softer, more enveloping glow. The form of the lamp reads more than its surface. Ideal where warmth and serenity are the priority.
• WT (Transparent) — clear glass: the light source is partially visible through the petals. The effect comes closest to a true stained glass — shards of light pass through the glass and project onto surrounding surfaces. The most dramatic of the three finishes.
