Code of Conduct
Why this document exists
At Spiridon Deco, we believe the quality of a light fixture begins long before the glass is blown or the metal shaped. It begins in the way we work — with our craftspeople, our suppliers, our clients and our environment.
This code of conduct is not a list of constraints. It is the expression of what we have practised every day since 2000, and what we ask of those who share our path.
What we stand for
We do not compromise on quality. Every piece that leaves our Tournai workshop must live up to the name it carries. That demands time, rigour and a constant attention to detail.
We speak plainly about what we do, what we don’t do, and what is or isn’t possible. Our quotes are detailed, our lead times are realistic, and if a problem arises, we communicate it without delay.
Our collaborators, craftspeople and partners are treated with fairness and consideration. We refuse any form of discrimination, harassment or undue pressure — whether internally or in our business relationships.
We select our raw material suppliers — glass, crystal, alabaster, metal — with regard to their social and environmental impact. We favour short European supply chains wherever possible, and we ensure that working conditions at our partner companies are decent and fair.
Our environmental commitment is first and foremost one of durability: a Spiridon Deco light fixture is designed to last for decades. We design repairable pieces, use noble long-life materials, and refuse planned obsolescence in all its forms.
Our clients entrust us with their projects — hotels, private residences, landmark venues. We treat this information with the utmost discretion. Personal data and project details are never shared without explicit agreement.
What we expect from our partners
Any person or company entering into a commercial relationship with Spiridon Group SRL implicitly commits to:
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations in their country of operation
- Refraining from forced labour, child labour or any form of exploitation
- Maintaining safe and decent working conditions
- Acting in good faith in all contractual dealings with us
- Respecting the confidentiality of information exchanged in the course of our collaboration
In the event of a proven breach of these principles, Spiridon Group SRL reserves the right to terminate any commercial relationship.
Reporting a concern
If you witness behaviour that you believe is contrary to the values described in this document — whether involving a member of our team, a supplier or a partner — we invite you to let us know. Every report is handled with seriousness and confidentiality.
